Project Jeremiah

Project Jeremiah is a new program launched by Judge Roy Moore to encourage and educate pastors around the country to stand up for righteousness and gain a better understanding of the First Amendment, Separation of Church and State, and the crucial role that the pulpit has played as the "conscience of the nation" throughout American history.

Call the Foundation for Moral Law at (334) 262-1245 to help organize a Project Jeremiah event for pastors in your state.

A personal message from Judge Roy Moore about Project Jeremiah

“The priests said not, ‘Where is the LORD?' and they that handle the law knew me not: the pastors also transgressed against me, and the prophets prophesied by Baal, and walked after things that do not profit.”

Jeremiah 2:8 (NKJ)

As in the days of Jeremiah, we too live at a time when the pulpits of our land no longer burn with the flame of righteousness. As preachers of the gospel forsake their role to maintain a moral standard, millions of innocent lives are taken before their first breath and sodomy sweeps across our land like a fire out of control.

Meanwhile, judges and others, who handle the law, do not know the Biblical and historical connection between God and law. And civil servants no longer consider themselves “ministers of God…for good…to execute wrath upon him that doeth evil" (Romans 13). In a day when “great men” have altogether “broken the yoke and burst the bonds” which connect us with Almighty God, we are in desperate need of a teaching ministry for pastors to restore the knowledge of the sovereignty of God over the affairs of men. To address this need, I am implementing Project Jeremiah.

The ACLU and other liberal organizations have relied on our ignorance and apathy for far too long. Freedom of conscience secured by the First Amendment to the United States Constitution is being taken from us as the public acknowledgment of God is stripped from our public square. We can ill afford to sit quietly by when the future of our Country, our children, and our posterity is at stake.

Duly elected by the people of Alabama, I was wrongfully removed from my position as Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court for my refusal to follow an unlawful federal court order which stated,

“While the Chief Justice is free to keep whatever religious belief he chooses, the state may not acknowledge the sovereignty of the Judeo Christian God and attribute to that God our religious freedom.”

As President of the Foundation for Moral Law, I understand the unique relationship between God and our religious freedom. I hold a Juris Doctor degree and an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree, and have spoken and lectured on the First Amendment and religious liberty for over ten years. I will provide the necessary leadership and supervision of this project.

Project Jeremiah will sponsor and promote free conferences for preachers across America to explain the truth of God's sovereignty over our country. We will explain the truth about “Separation of Church and State,” “Rule of Law,” and obedience to civil government from a Biblical, historical, and legal perspective. Pastors and preachers will be made aware of the unique Biblical and legal relationship between God's law and our Constitution—that without the First Commandment there would be no First Amendment!

This is a very important project to restore a proper understanding of God to the preachers of our land, but I need your help! My resources are limited and most ministers are unable to fund such a project.

I have met many preachers and ministerial organizations over the years while speaking at churches, civic organizations, and schools, and by networking with these contacts I hope to further the goals of Project Jeremiah. Scheduling and travel arrangements will be made through the Foundation for Moral Law.

Contributions to support and fund this project may be made payable to the Foundation for Moral Law a 501(c)(3) organization located at One Dexter Avenue, Montgomery, Alabama 36104. All contributions must be designated Project Jeremiah. I appreciate your prayers as well as your financial support for this cause.

Sincerely,

Roy S. Moore
