Roy Moore and Foundation Respond to NY Counterfeit “Marriage”

Late Friday night, the Governor of New York signed a bill foisting same-sex “marriage” on the people of New York. Roy Moore, former Chief Justice of the Alabama Supreme Court, and Foundation for Moral Law President stated:
“Whether by judicial activism or backroom politics, homosexual activists continue to attack and redefine natural and God-given notions of family and marriage. Just as counterfeit currency weakens the real dollar, giving same-sex relationships the status of ‘marriage’ counterfeits and devalues real marriage between a man and a woman. This is a nationwide movement to destroy marriage itself by divorcing it from all its biblical, moral, and historical foundations. In no state of the Union have the people ever sanctioned by popular vote same-sex marriage. An Amendment to the U.S. Constitution declaring marriage between one man and one woman would pass the legislatures of at least 3/4 of the states, as required, and could become the 28th Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.”
The Foundation for Moral Law (http://www NULL.morallaw NULL.org/), a national non-profit legal organization, is located in Montgomery, Alabama, and is dedicated to restoring the knowledge of God in law and government through litigation and education relating to moral issues and religious liberty cases.

I’m glad gays can now have legal recognition of their marriages in NY State. This is not only good for the individuals involved but also is a positive for the State. And I also look forward to the repeal of DOMA.
I hat backroom politics and judicial activism. These are oath breakers and should be impeached. Anywho…Im looking forward that DOMA will remain firm.
This law should have been put on the ballot for the people to vote to decide on. The government had no business in making this law. It’s unconstitutional! God hates sin and He will not bless those who engage in it. He will take revenge as He did with Sodom and Gommorah. Just because the government makes it legal for gays to marry does not make it any less immoral.
Ya know goddestroyedsodomandgomorah had anti miscegenation laws been put to a vote we would still have them.
Rights are not something that should be put to the whim of popular opinion.
I don’t know what to say but not caring whom I offend, it is an abomination if you know its wrong and don’t turn away from it, that was a really p.poor john henry there NY ~! You’ll get what ye deserve !
That is correct. It is not less immoral and those john henries had better hoped they had done far more than others or they’ll be ashes forever someday.
Just as any attempt to legislate a forced morality will fail, so too, will this attempt to legislate a forced immorality.
Homosexuality & it’s concequences would be better off left to God & the participant to reconcile, than for any other person(s) to try & promote or demote.
As an Ambassador of Christ, I would simply echo the Apostle Paul and say, Be conciliated to God!, He has been conciliated to the world through His Son’s work on the pole.
Lee, I don’t know what is being forced on you. There is no law saying you have marry someone of the same sex. You are free to marry the opposite sex should you find a partner.
OTOH legally gays could not marry each and that is what I would call being forced upon.
