(http://www NULL.visionforumministries NULL.aspx)Colonel John Eidsmoe recently joined the legal team of the Foundation for Moral Law (http://www NULL.morallaw (see press release here (http://www NULL.morallaw NULL.htm)) and, Firm Foundation is pleased to announce, he will now be able to add “blogger” to his extensive résumé.  He is a retired Air Force Lt. Colonel and Alabama State Defense Force Colonel, who most recently served as Senior Staff Attorney at the Alabama Supreme Court.  Col Eidsmoe is a constitutional and historical scholar, a law professor at the Oak Brook College of Law and Public Policy (http://www NULL.obcl, and a former law professor at the O.W. Coburn School of Law at Oral Roberts University (http://www NULL.oru, Regent University School of Law (http://www NULL.regent, and the Thomas Goode Jones School of Law (http://www NULL.faulkner NULL.asp).  Col. Eidsmoe has published 13 books and other writings including the invaluable must-read Christianity and the Constitution: The Faith of Our Founding Fathers (http://www NULL.christianbook, as well as God and Caesar (http://www, Columbus and Cortez: Conquerors for Christ (http://www, and others (http://www  He has produced numerous video and audio lecture albums including the Institute on the Constitution (http://www NULL.americanvision NULL.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1636) and Here I Stand: A Biblical Worldview for a New Millennium (http://www NULL.visionforum NULL.aspx?productid=83322&categoryid=159).   Col. Eidsmoe is an ordained Lutheran minister with a black belt in Taekwondo and, as he puts it, he tries to get 8 hours of sleep every week.

Check back here for John Eidsmoe’s knowledgeable thoughts on America’s Christian heritage, his insightful analysis of the modern threats to our religious freedom, or just a fun dose of his famous wit.  Colonel/Professor/Reverend Eidsmoe obviously wears many hats—although a cowboy hat is probably his favorite (http://www NULL.lutheransforlife NULL.htm)—and we are grateful to have him join the efforts at the Foundation and this blog to restore the moral foundation of law.
