Liberal or conservative, Democrat or Republican, who could be so mean-spirited as to actually hope that President Obama fails?
I could. In fact, I do.
Obama wants to push through Congress the so-called Freedom of Choice Act (FOCA) that would eliminate federal and state restrictions on abortion, thereby fostering the increased murder of innocent unborn babies. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to spend “stimulus funds” costing in excess of $3 TRILLION dollars, somehow thinking we can spend ourselves rich (sort of like drinking oneself sober). I hope he fails.
Obama wants to lift the ban on homosexuals in the military and revoke the “don’t ask, don’t tell” policy, thereby condoning immorality and weakening military discipline. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to lift the ban on media pictures of coffins of American soldiers, thereby showing his contempt for the families of American soldiers who have made the ultimate sacrifice. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to further weaken America’s defenses by cutting military spending 10%. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to severely restrict our right to keep and bear arms, the Heller v. DC decision and the Second Amendment notwithstanding. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to abandon plans for American missile shields in the hope of fostering better relations with Russia. I hope he fails.
Obama favors the creation of a Palestinian state that would be a threat to Israel’s existence. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to abolish the Bush tax cuts and increase taxes on those who earn high incomes, thereby punishing productivity. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to provide millions of dollars in funding to elementary school sex education programs without teaching abstinence. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to appoint liberal Justices to the Supreme Court who will ignore the original intent of the Constitution’s Framers and will treat the Constitution as a “silly putty” document to be molded however a judge wants to mold it. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to appoint Tom Perelli, attorney for Terri Schaivo’s husband, the #3 man in the U.S. Department of Justice. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to appoint federal judges who will misinterpret the First Amendment to require an absolute separation of church and state, something the First Amendment neither says nor means. I hope he fails.
Obama wants to socialize American health care. I hope he fails.
I hope he fails in all of these endeavors, because if he succeeds, America will cease to be the land of the free and the home of the brave. If Obama succeeds, America will become a socialist society that looks to the federal government to provide everyone’s sustenance and tell everyone what to do. If the stimulus package succeeds (at the expense of future generations), we will cease to be a free enterprise nation and instead will be a socialist society whose people look to government funds to solve every economic problem. Instead of a constitutional republic of 50 sovereign states, America will become a centralized empire with 50 administrative subdivisions. And instead of being the leader of the Free World, America will become a sniveling coward that capitulates to tyrants and terrorists.
I hope Obama fails because I hope America succeeds, and if Obama succeeds in his destructive and immoral programs, America as we know it will cease to exist.

Careful what you wish for. Obama, Bushes, Reagan Truman, Hoover, Wilson name a president back to the Civil War Lincoln included and you have a list of leaders who have failed this nation in their duty to “preserve protect and defend the Constitution”. Our nation is on a precipice because “we the people” have failed in our duty to preserve our liberty by our lack of vigilance. You seem to think that there is a difference between republican and democrat. Nothing could be further from the truth, our liberties have continued to erode non stop regardless of which “party” controlled the government. As for your observations, America has been a centralized empire as least since 1933 and Roosevelt. You had better hope Obama fails but not for the reasons you cite, should he succeed we will cease to exist as a nation of free people. The global elite, whoever they may be are closer to the realization of their centuries old plan for world domination, and we are the last obstacle. it is long past high time that we wake up to the fact that government has ceased to represent the people, and that whoever bought and payed for them is who owns this government. Through out history, going back over a thousand years MONEY and control or issuance of credit has been the path to destruction. Few people realize the monumental struggle that preceded the crime that allowed the creation of the “creature from Jekyl Island”, the Federal Reserve Corporation. This so called central bank cartel and its system of “Fractional Reserve” banking is the third attempt by the global elite to gain control of the nation by control of currency and credit/ debt. Our financial system is intentionally being destroyed, and when completed the USA will succumb just as the Roman Empire did. The elite have been so successful at dividing this nation that there is almost zero chance that “we the people” can reverse this, you can’t avoid driving off a cliff if you are looking out the back window. When I read posts like yours I have to marvel at the success that the elite have had, it is truly breathtaking how they manipulated us into acting like a dog chasing his tail. God help us but we deserve what we have coming.

Thre’s no need to twist what he said into a pitch for your own views that there is “almost zero chance” that “we can reverse this.” You don’t know that.
G. Edward Griffin wrote the definitive book on the Federal Reserve not to tell the readers of the Creature From Jekyll Island that there is no hope but to give them hope.
It’s only in knowing what we face that there is chance of winning.
Griffin’s book lifted the blinders off many people’s eyes for a reason and it wasn’t just to give them a peek inside the world of the money changers. It was written to show how we were deceived by an elite cartel and how this cartel, however powerful and arrogant , is still vulnerable to being exposed and have its operation shut down. They know that they can’t stand the light of day focused on their nefarious grand scheme.
Everyone who learns of the history and the designs of the Fed has to make a decision to either throw up his hands and say “it’s no use,” or to ask himself “how do I bring this creature down?”
If you don’t think this is possible then why are you even bothering with any of this if, as you say, ” we deserve what we have coming”?
Obama and most all of congress is the problem. A uninformed public (the next generation who has been exposed to only the left wing) and strict one term limits for congress are the answer (If it is not too late).
Obama has already FAILED! The moment he claimed to be a Christian he showed otherwise by his works. He clothes himself in a robe of religion in order to “try” and hide how EVIL he really is. The devil comes to kill (murder aka abortion) steal (robbing future generations/exploiting peoples fears) and destroy (Obama could care less about peoples liberties seeks to destroy them/freedom of speech/hate crime bills condoning wickedness) Obama clearly listens to his father the Devil and carries out his works. Could Obama be the antichrist-he is loved worldwide/he is crafty and causes it to prosper/he is fierce in his deceptions and godless agendas/he is redistributing wealth/ he honors those who break Gods laws. Indeed per Gods word he has failed what it means to be Christian and God fearing. Such a man will not treat Gods creation with wisdom. Jesus is the way of true change/ Obama is the way of short change!
